Amit Shah in Chhattisgarh to Review BJP's Poll Readiness
Raipur: Union home minister Amit Shah is arriving here on Friday on a two-day tour to Chhattisgarh to review preparations by BJP for the ensuing assembly elections.
According to the state media coordinator of BJP, Mr Shah is scheduled to arrive here at around 6.40 pm on Friday.
He is scheduled to hold a meeting of senior party leaders here late in the evening the same day to review preparations for the year-end assembly polls in Chhattisgarh by BJP.
Party’s election in-charge for Chhattisgarh OM Mathur, co election in-charge and Union minister Mansukh Mandaviya, senior party leader Ajey Jamwal, former chief minister Raman Singh, state party president Arun Sao, BJP legislature party leader Narayan Chandel and some other senior leaders of the party in the state are scheduled to attend the meeting, sources said.
The Union minister is scheduled to release chargesheet against the Bhupesh Baghel government on Saturday.
He is scheduled to address a tribal conference in Saraipali under Mahasamund district in the state on Saturday afternoon before leaving for Delhi the same day.
Meanwhile, Mr Mandaviya arrived here on Thursday on a two-day visit to the state to attend various party meetings ahead of the forthcoming assembly polls in the state.
