Bengaluru: Double murder mystery solved, security guard held
In the morning, when other workers went to the trio's shed, they found Vikram and Sidulla lying dead in a pool of blood.
Bengaluru: The Hulimavu police cracked the murder of two Assamese security guards, who were hacked to death at an under-construction site on Thursday night, with the arrest of their colleague, who was on the run.
The accused, Ajith Brahma (23), who too hailed from Assam, killed Vikram Kumar (25) and Sidulla Khan (26) in a fit of rage at the construction site in Doddakammanahalli on the city’s outskirts.
Ajith joined duty on September 25, but the same night, he told the two deceased that he did not like the job and he would quit and return to his hometown the next day. When Vikram and Sidulla told him that he will never come up in life with such an attitude, a fight broke out among them. Vikram and Sidulla assaulted Ajith and later, all of them went to sleep. But Ajith, who was still smarting at the humiliation, stayed awake till the two slept, got hold of an iron rod and bludgeoned them to death.
In the morning, when other workers went to the trio’s shed, they found Vikram and Sidulla lying dead in a pool of blood.
During the investigation, the police found out that Ajith was missing soon after the incident and started tracing his mobile phone. They found him to be holed up with his friends at JP Nagar and picked him up.
