Warangal: NRI couple donate school uniforms

The couple was celebrating the birthday of their children Athera and Avyukth at the orphanage on Sunday.

Warangal: An NRI couple, Sindhura and Susheel Tanjavoor, have donated school uniforms worth Rs 40,000 to 76 children residing at Vyasa Avasam, an orphanage in Warangal. The couple was celebrating the birthday of their children – Athera and Avyukth – at the orphanage on Sunday. City-based NGO Sulakshya Seva Samithi had organised the programme.  

Addressing the gathering, assistant collector of Warangal Rural District Manu Choudhary emphasised that extra-curricular activities were equally important as academics. 

NSS co-ordinator of Kakatiya University Dr  S.Jyothi said, “Students should make the right use of opportunities being provided by several kind-hearted people like Sindhura and Susheel and NGOs like Sulakshya Seva Samithi and excel in their lives.”
