Sari showroom burnt in fire in Ameerpet

Hyderabad: A sari showroom in Ameerpet was gutted on Monday morning due to electric short circuit.

Hyderabad district fire officer M. Srinvas Reddy the fire control room received a call about the fire at the showroom, located near Kanakadurga temple, at 8.45 am. He said two fire tenders were despatched which controlled the fire in half an hour.

He said that the cause was an short-circuit and the stock kept in the first floor and furniture were burnt.
