HMDA chief T Chiranjeevulu likely to visit China for study tour

The metropolitan body has drawn up plans to build satellite townships, logistic parks, bus terminals in and around the outer ring road.

Hyderabad: A delegation led by HMDA commissioner T. Chiranjeevulu will travel to China for a study tour in the coming weeks.

According to sources, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao instructed the HMDA chief to Beijing and Shanghai and view infrastructure projects that would be helpful in designing the airport city at Shamshabad. Plans are to create an airport city in over 600 acres with a convention hall, exhibition area, star hotels, malls, hospitals among other facilities. The metropolitan body has drawn up plans to build  satellite townships, logistic parks, bus terminals in and around the outer ring road.
