The protesting farmers are demanding a special Parliament session to discuss the agrarian crisis and to pass two Bills that will free them from debt and get them remunerative prices for their produce.
Sree Harsha who participant in the protest at KPR Park said, “The combination of anger, passion, helplessness and a ray of hope all could be seen on the faces of each one of the Hyderabadis who came to protest in solidarity with the Kisan Mukti March.”
J. Rashmitha, a volunteer, said, “We attended many talks about the struggle of Indian farmers so we realised their struggle is really big and we should support them at any cost. So we also cooked food and provided it to the first delegation of farmers from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh that left for Delhi on November 27. On Thursday we conducted the protest from 4 pm to 7 pm at KBR Park.”
