Online notice for Haj duty vacancies
Candidates are required to have command in a local Indian language and also understand Arabic, besides having knowledge of accounts.
Hyderabad: The ministry of minority affairs in the Central government has invited online applications from Muslims employed with the Central and state governments and its undertakings for appointment on deputation, on a temporary basis, as coordinator, assistant Haj officer and Haj assistant. Those selected will assist pilgrims during Haj 2019 in Saudi Arabia. Employees in the age group of 30-55 years are eligible.
Candidates are required to have command in a local Indian language and also understand Arabic, besides having knowledge of accounts. They should also be able to control mobs and excel at disaster management, public relations and administration.
Telangana State Haj Committee chairman Masiullah Khan said the contending employees should submit their applications on the Haj Committee of India website, www.haj.inc.in/ deputation, on or before January 24 and send a printout of the submitted applications duly approved by the concerned competent authority along with required enclosures to under secretary (Haj-II), Haj division, ministry of minority affairs.
He said only female employees who belong to police/ para military/ defence forces are eligible. Interview for selection of candidates would be conducted by the ministry. Candidates will be told the date, time and venue of interview in due course. Selected employees will not be eligible for TA or DA.
