Tamil Nadu students find CBSE English paper easy
More than 52,000 students from Tamil Nadu took CBSE Classes X and XII exams on Tuesday.
Chennai: Parents and students were found anxious and excited after the first day of CBSE examination on Tuesday. Though the English paper was lengthy and most students finished it in the nick of time, yet they found the paper to be easy.
K. Anuhya from National Public School who took her examination at DAV senior secondary school, Gopalapuram, was excited. “My hands are still trembling. I just finished at the nick of time and couldn’t check the answer sheet. I hope I have written everything correct.
The paper was easy, but it was too lengthy,” she said. Her mother K. Gitanjali, who was waiting outside the examination centre, was tensed and seeing her daughter smiling, she felt relieved. “I was anxious as to how she would fare, but English paper is always easy for her,” she said.
Another student from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School, A. Saibhavanai, said even though the paper was lengthy she finished it within 15 to 20 minutes. “There were three sections, out of which I found section B to be interesting and time consuming. It was writing skills wherein we have to think a lot,” she said.
Minoo Agarwal, Principal of D.A.V Public School, Velachery said, “The students were able to complete the paper on time, but they couldn’t go through the answer sheet. But parents were very tensed; we tried to pacify them.”
CBSE Regional Officer, K.Srinivasan, said, “We got a good feedback from the students on English paper. They found it easy.”
