Kumara Swami said that Sambasiva Rao is trying to threaten them with the help of legislator Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, his brother Bonda Srinivas and his followers since 2015. He alleged that followers of the MLA had destructed the constructions on the site on February 24, 2017 but the police did not respond to their complaint.

“We got clearance from the district administration and MRO had shown boundaries of the site. We are worried as followers of MLA Bonda Uma are threatening us,” says Venkateswara Rao, another victim.
