GoAir starts its overseas operations from Kannur

The return services (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) would start from Abu Dhabi at 1.40 am.

KANNUR: GoAir Airlines started overseas operations from Kannur Intern-ational Airport Limited (KIAL)  on Thursday night. The first trip was to Muscat at 9.45 pm.

The regular services will be operated on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, GoAir said in a press release here. The return from Muscat would be on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (1.05 am).

The Abu Dhabi services (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) were started on Friday (9.10 pm on all days). The return services (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) would start from Abu Dhabi at 1.40 am.

Special summer flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday)  would be operated to Abu Dhabi from March 31 onwards at 6.45 pm. On the same days the flights would return at 9.15 pm from Abu Dhabi.

GoAir will operate services to Thiruvan-anthapuram from April, GoAir said. Within a few months KIAL will become an aviation hub with many overseas and domestic services, KIAL managing director V. Tulasidas said.
