Visakhapatnam: Man held for bid to blackmail woman

Visakhapatnam: The Vizag cyber crime police have arrested one person for threatening and blackmailing a woman saying that her picture will be morphed and uploaded on the Internet.
The woman had approached the police on April 16 and lodged a complaint against Vadde Srinivas, accusing him of demanding money.
In her complaint, she said that Srinivas threatened her that her morphed pictures would be uploaded on the Internet if the money was not credited into a bank account.
Police said that Srinivas belonging to Kolluru village in Medak district of Telangana was arrested on Wednesday. Police recovered the mobile phone used to threaten the woman. He was produced before a court and sent to remand.
