They were later joined by Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for a meeting before they headed for the iftar hosted by the Governor.
Sources said Mr Reddy discussed with the Governor reforms in the tenders process, efforts to shore up the financial position, implement the proposed ban on liquor, transfer of bureaucrats and the outcome of the review meetings he has been having with officials.
Mr Reddy reached the city half an hour late due to a flight delay, and drove straight to Raj Bhavan to meet Mr Narasimhan. After Mr Rao joined them, the two CMs had a separate discussion in connection with pending issues of the two states.
During the meeting, Mr Narasimhan and the two CMs are believed to have discussed issues relating to the division of institutions under the 9th and 10th Schedules, the status of buildings housing AP government offices in Hyderabad and sharing of assets of the institutions located in Hyderabad and distribution of employees.
