Asifabad forest range officer suffering from trauma, but stable: Doctors

Hyderabad: Forest Range Officer Chole Anitha, who is currently under observation in a city-based hospital, has suffered a musculoskeletal injury, doctors said on Monday.

Doctors treating her at the KIMS said, “Officer Ms Chole Anitha  came in emergency past midnight around 1.30 am (Monday morning). She had musculoskeletal injuries because of an alleged assault. Patient was stabilised in casualty. She has been kept for observation and awaiting results of the investigations done.”  

When this newspaper correspondent visited the officer, she appeared weak and traumatised. However, she didn’t retrieve her statement against the MLA, his brother and those involved in the assault.

The officer, who is six years into service, lives with her husband and son at the government quarters in Kaghaznagar.
