Kadiam Srihari denies any plan to join BJP
Kadiam Srihari said he neither has the intention nor the need to join the BJP just because he can get a post in the government.
Warangal: Former deputy chief minister Kadiam Srihari on Monday denied all rumours which suggested that he would be leaving the TRS to join the BJP.
He said he neither has the intention nor the need to join the BJP just because he can get a post in the government. He made it clear that the rumours of him being upset are baseless and they were created by people who wanted to malign his personally.
In a statement released on Monday, Mr Srihari pointed out that his political career has been without a remark even though he served in many positions including MLA, MLC, minister and deputy chief minister.
He said he has been working with loyalty, capability and values as his key principles and never ever had to stoop low for political gains.
“These rumours and speculations making the rounds in social media are far from reality. I am a follower of the ideologies of Dr B.R. Ambedkar hailing from a poor family with no political background. There is no way that I would join the BJP which alienates the Dalits, Christians and Muslims with its religious politics. At the same time, I have never voted for the corrupt Congress. I will always remain loyal to the TRS,” he said.
