Hyderabad: The CID grilled a few more students who attended a private coaching centre in Hyderabad, in connection with the probe into the Eamcet-2 question paper leakage.

The CID is looking for more people who were associated with kingpin S. Rajagopal Reddy. The suspected ‘experts’, who solved the leaked question papers and prepared answer keys, are yet to be arrested.

According to officials, most students who benefited from the paper leak have been identified and questioned. The CID officials are trying to find out how many more students had paid the brokers to get the leaked papers. Going by the call records and other clues gathered after arresting Rajagopal Reddy and other brokers, the CID secured details of a few more students.

CID sources said that since brokers took the students in batches to different camps in various cities, it is tougher to identify all the students in a short period. The brokers and students who went to the Pune camp did not know who attended Bengaluru camp, officials said.

The CID suspects one or two professionals, either medical doctors or teachers, were hired by the kingpin to solve the leaked paper before handing them over to the candidates. If not from Hyderabad, they might be from Bengaluru, sources said.
