Hyderabad: Mohammed Jabbar, 65, was sitting just six feet away from the train firing victim Syed Saifuddin on Monday, and still hasn’t recovered from the trauma of the incident and the killing of his employee. Jabbar apparently fell unconscious after watching Saifuddin being shot.

Jabbar was brought to the city and admitted in a private hospital in Nampally. Doctors said that Jabbar was running high temperature and they had given him sedatives as well as medicine to bring the fever down.

“When he gets up, he wants to say something but starts sweating. He has seen something very horrible for the first time in his life, he wants to say something but the words are not coming out,” a doctor said. Jabbar has been kept in the critical care unit and only his family members are being allowed to meet him.
