Tiruvarur: Farmer stumbles on Murugan sculpture
Official sources said that the sculpture placed was lifted from the pit and the farmer placed it near the entrance to his house.

Tiruvarur: A fourft tall Lord Muruga sculpture carved out of granite has been uncovered at Vikkirapandiyam village near Kudavasal in Tiruvarur district recently, when a farmer Ranjit was digging the earth to construct a toilet at the backyard of his house.
Official sources said that the sculpture placed was lifted from the pit and the farmer placed it near the entrance to his house.
On information, a large number of locals offered worship to Lord Murugan, even as Revenue officials who reached the spot took the sculpture and safely placed it in Kudavasal taluk office, sources said.
