Hyderabad: Alcoholic hangs himself after quarrel with wife

Hyderabad: A 30-year-old alcoholic killed himself by hanging at his residence in Sanathn-agar in a fit of rage after an argument with his wife on Friday. The police identified the victim as Silver Teju, 30, a labourer.

According to  police, Teju was an alcoholic and used to quarrel with his wife under the influence of alcohol. Sub-inspector Venkanna, Sanath-nagar said, “On Friday evening also there was a heated argument between the couple and in a fit of rage he hanged himself from the ceiling with a rope.”

The Santhanagar police has registered a case under section 174 CrPC and started investigation. 

The police handed over the body to the family members after a post mortem examination.
