TRS government extends terms of power utility chiefs

Hyderabad: State government has extended the term of several directors in power utilities and appointed new directors also. Telangana state Southern Power Distribution company (TSSPDCL) Chairman and Managing Director G Raghuma Reddy term also extended for a further period upto 31st May 2019.  Directors of TSSPDCL Ja Srinivasa Reddy, T. Srinivas, TSNPDCL directors B. Venkateshwara Rao, TS Transco directors G. Narasing Rao, T. Jagath Reddy, J. Surya Prakash,  TS Genco directors C.H. Venkatrajam, S. Ashok Kumar and M Sachidanamdam term also extended for a further period upto May 31, 2019.

State government has also appointed some new directors in power utilities. K. Ramulu, G. Parvatham, Ch Madan Mohan Rao and S. Swamy Reddy were appointed as directors in TSSPDCL. P. Mohan Reddy, P. Sandhya Rani, P. Ganapathi, D. Narasinga Rao and Mohammed Younus were appointed as directors in TSNPDCL.  B. Narasinga Rao was appointed as a director in TS Transco and B. Lakshmaiah and A Ajay were appointed as directors in TS Genco. They will continue as directors of concerned power utilities upto 31st May 2019. 

Meanwhile the state government has appointed N. Janaiah as vice-chairman and managing director of TS Renewable Energy Development Corporation in place of A Sudhakar Rao with immediate effect for a period upto 31st May 2019. Sudhakar Rao was directed to report in the parent department.
