Cultural protest for Jangaon district

Warangal: Demanding the state government to declare Jangaon as a separate district, women played Bathukamma at the RTC bus station on the Waragal-Hyderabad highway on Saturday.

The Jangaon JAC leaders said they would intensify the agitation in the coming days. A team of members from the JAC met leaders of various political parties in Hyderabad.

JAC chairman A. Dashmanth Reddy demanded Jangaon MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy to resign and join the people to fight for the cause.

On Sunday, the JAC would conduct a peace rally and submit  an appeal letter to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. On Monday, rallies will be taken out.
