BBMP engineer files complaint against corporator's husband

Bengaluru: A BBMP engineer has lodged a complaint at the Yeshwanthpur police station against J.P. Nagar corporator Mamata’s husband for threatening him and obstructing him while discharging his duties.

The complaint was filed by Nagaraj against Vasudev. Nagaraj complained that corporator Mamata’s husband Vasudev called him up on phone and threatened him to stop the ongoing work of Indira Canteen at a park in JP Nagar ward limits.

The BBMP engineer told the police that Vasudev used foul language while speaking to him and warned of dire consequences if the works of Indira Canteen is not stopped.

Nagaraj said that Vasudev also threatened to send him to jail if he goes ahead with the construction. Yeshwanthpur police have registered the complaint and the investigations are on.
