CSI Kerala meet from November 4

Kochi: The annual conference of Cardiology Society of India, Kerala chapter (CSIK) will be held November at Perinthalmanna from November 4.

Noted interventional cardiologist Dr Mathew Samuel Kalarickal will inaugurate the event. 

The conference would address various issues concerning alarming rate of increase in heart diseases and measures to improve the cardiac health of the people in the state, organising committee secretary Dr. Mathews Paul said. “It would also address health issues in the wake of recent floods in the state and its impact on cardiovascular health,” he added.

The conference would evaluate various patient based studies conducted across various health institutes in the state. There will be deliberations on management of complex cardiac case scenarios and latest path-breaking trials in cardiology,’ he said. 

More than 300 experts, eminent speakers, faculty, scientists and researchers from across the state will attend the meet.
