MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy not invited, upset
Reddy represents the erstwhile Nalgonda district of which the current Yadadri district is a part.
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti general secretary and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy is said to be upset because he was not invited for the inauguration by industries minister K.T. Rama Rao of the Green Industrial Park in Yadadri Bhongir district on Friday.
Mr Reddy represents the erstwhile Nalgonda district of which the current Yadadri district is a part. He expressed his displeasure to his close associates at not being invited and his name not being put on the inaugural plaque at the venue.
However, when reporters asked him how he felt about being ignored, Mr Rajeshwar Reddy said that he did not want to comment.
Party leaders are discussing reasons for not inviting Mr Reddy for the programme when he is known to be close to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for many years.
Sources in the party disclosed that during the recent by-election in Huzurnagar, Mr Rajeshwar Reddy’s prediction was proved wrong. Though he was put in charge of the election, he was not confident of the TRS candidate winning and this irked reportedly irked the Chief Minister.
Sources disclosed that putting Mr Reddy in charge of the Huzurnagar election led to differences between him and the local minister G. Jagadish Reddy. This is one of the reasons for the widening gap between the TRS top bosses and Mr Rajeshwar Reddy.
