Jagan To Be In Vizag Today For Global Meet
VIJAYAWADA / VISAKHAPATNAM: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit Visakhapatnam on Thursday to take part in the inaugural session of the 25th International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage Congress plenary at the Radisson Blu Resort.
The CM will leave his residence at Tadepalli at 7:35 a.m. and arrive at Visakhapatnam airport at about 8:50 a.m.
From the airport, he will take a helicopter and land at the helipad on IT Hill No. 3 in Madhurawada. He will then reach the plenary venue by road.
Police have made elaborate security arrangements for the visit of Jagan Mohan Reddy as well as delegates from several countries.
Security has been beefed up at all the places, including the airport, resorts and hotels, where the international guests are staying.
Visakhapatnam commissioner of police Dr. A. Ravi Shankar checked out the security arrangements at the various spots in the city.
