Several flights from Hyderabad delayed, hit by weather

Hyderabad: Several flights from Hyderabad to Delhi, Varanasi and Kolkata were either delayed or cancelled due to fog on Thursday.

Air India, Indigo and other airlines flights from Hyderabad to Delhi in the morning were delayed by two to three hours due to fog at Delhi airport while two from Hyderabad to Delhi in the evening were cancelled due to fog there.

Airlines staff said an Indigo flight to Kolkata was delayed due to weather conditions. Meanwhile, a Spicejet flight which took off from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here for Varanasi returned midway from Lucknow due to fog at Varanasi airport.
