Hyderabad: Man held for 11 thefts; gold, laptops seized

Hyderabad: A man was arrested by the Government Railway Police for his involvement in 11 property offences. Officials recovered 168.5 gm gold and three laptops from his possession, all worth of Rs 6.5 lakh.

The accused has been identified as Gandikota Sateesh alias Reddy alias Saleem, 23, a hotel worker residing at Manikeshwarnagar of Tarnaka, who confessed that he used to steal from people on Secunderabad and Kacheguda railway stations, said the superintendent of railway police, G. Ashok Kumar. 

The arrest was done after police received credible information from a reliable source on Saturday morning. Sateesh has been sent to judicial remand.
