Telangana: Collectors who took on MLAs shunted
The government transferred or gave postings to 27 IAS officers, including those who were sent to non-focal jobs.
Hyderabad: Collectors A. Sri Devasena of Jangaon and Dr Priti Meena of Mahbubabad, who had run-ins with local TRS legislators were on Tuesday shifted to other districts in a major reshuffle of bureaucrats.
The government transferred or gave postings to 27 IAS officers, including those who were sent to non-focal jobs.
Among those who were shifted included Mr Rajeshwar Tiwari, Mr B.R. Meena, Mr Suresh Chandra, Mr Ashok Kumar, Mr Navin Mittal, Mr R.V. Chandravadan, Mr Sandeep Kumar Sultania.
Civic body gets two more officers
Special Chief Secretary Rajeshwar Tiwari was posted to revenue and registration and stamps. CM’s principal secretary A. Santi Kumari, CEO, Industry Chasing Cell, was given additional charge as principal secretary (Medical and Health).
Mr Arvind Kumar, resident commissioner, Tel-angana Bhavan, New Delhi, was posted as principal secretary, MA&UD department.
Mr Navin Mittal has been made commissioner, Collegiate Education and Technical Education. Mr G. Asok Kumar, principal secretary, BC welfare, was posted as Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi.
Mr B. Venkatesham, secretary, tourism and culture, was given full additional charge of secretary, BC welfare. Mr R.V. Chandravadan, commissioner, Prohibition and Excise, was transferred as commissioner, revenue (disaster management).
Mr Somesh Kumar, principal secretary, revenue (commercial taxes and excise), is placed in full additional charge as commissioner, Prohi-bition and Excise.
Finance secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania was sent to the animal husbandry department, Home secretary Anita Rajendra was posted as commissioner, BC welfare, and secretary, BC Commission.
Water Board MD M. Dana Kishore was given full additional charge as secretary, minority welfare. Mr Syed Omal Jaleel has been appointed Vikarabad collector.
Dr Christina Z. Chon-gthu, managing director, Telangana State Tourism Development Corpo-ration, will now be commissioner, tribal welfare.
Public health and family welfare director Vakati Karuna has been posted as director, land administration, and given full additional charge of public health and family welfare.
Among those who were awaiting posting, Dr Jyoti Budha Prakash was was made secretary, SC Development, and Dr K. Ilambarithi, secretary, State Information Com-mission. Mr M. Cha-mpalal, was posted as joint secretary, home (Sainik welfare).
Panchayat Raj joint secretary M.R.M. Rao was transferred and posted as Nizamabad collector Jangaon collector A. Sri Devasena was shifted to Peddapalli and Yada-dri-Bhongir collector. Anita Ramachandran was given full additional charge of Jangaon.
Jayashankar-Bhupala-pally collector A. Murali was transferred and posted as director, State Archives. Medak collector Bharati Hollikeri and Bodhan sub-collector Sikta Patnaik were posted as GHMC additional commissioners. Sangareddy collector Manicka Raj will also oversee Medak.
Mahabubabad collector Dr Preeti Meena was posted as director, AIDS Control Society; Kham-mam collector Lokesh Kumar was given full additional charge of Mahbubabad district.
Mahbubnagar collector Killu Shiva Kumar Naidu was posted as secretary, State Planning Board. Chief Commissioner of Land Affairs secretary Khar-tade Kalicharan Suda-mrao was posted as officer on special duty, Telangana Bhavan.
IAS officers from the 2015 batch Md. Mush-arraf Ali Faruqui, Anu-rag Jayanti, Gowtham Potru, Pamela Satpathy and Rahul Raj were appointed sub-collectors of various districts.
