Bengaluru: Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa chaired the Training Command Commanders' Conference held at IAF Training Command Headquarters in the city on Friday. The air chief appreciated the changes made in the training syllabus to make them more operational oriented.

The pilots passing out after HAWK Training will be fit for operational roles. The airmen training programme has also been enhanced with emphasis on security training, cyber security and management of social media. The technical training pattern ensures that air warriors are ready to undertake operational roles in a hi-tech environment. The focus has also been on improvement in infrastructure for training requirements and sports facilities.

The air chief was accompanied by his wife Kamalpreet Dhanoa, who is the President of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA). She inaugurated the newly renovated Blooming Buds Play School and interacted with the wives of air warriors and reviewed all the welfare measures undertaken by Training Command Headquarters.
