Kodanad case adjourned to February 8
Both the suspects were present in the court today and the hearings went on for a long time.
Ooty: On the plea related to cancellation of bail for two accused, namely Sayan and Manoj, in the sensational Kodanad estate break-in-cum-murder case, the District and Sessions court here adjourned the case to February 8 for passing orders, after hearing arguments on Saturday.
It may be recalled that both Sayan and Manoj alias Valayar Manoj, in a recent e-interview in New Delhi linked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswamy with the incident that created flutters.
Following this, Mr.Bala Nandakumar, Public Prosecutor of Nilgiris, moved a petition in the District and Sessions Court here seeking cancellation of bail for the two suspects, stating they may try to tamper with the evidences and threaten other witnesses in this case, which is a sensitive one.
