Warangal: Revenue official caught taking Rs 5,000 bribe
The accused was arrested by the ACB officials and shifted to Hyderabad to be produced before the special court for ACB cases there.

Warangal: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths caught a mandal revenue employee at Nadikuda mandal in Warangal Rural district receiving a bribe on Saturday.
Mandal revenue inspector M. Sampath was caught by the ACB while he was demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from Chelumulla Surender Reddy.
The officer demanded the bribe to process the application of the Kalyana Laxmi scheme of Surender Reddy’s uncle.
The accused was arrested by the ACB officials and shifted to Hyderabad to be produced before the special court for ACB cases there.
ACB officials have urged the people to dial toll-free No 1064 in case any government employee demands a bribe to discharge their duties.
