Imam of Masjid alHaram of Kaaba condemns terrorism
The Imam was in Patna to attend the ongoing Peace conference organised by Tawhid Education Trust.
Patna: Imam of Masjid al–Haram of Kabba in Saudi Arabia Sheikh Saleh Muhammad Ibrahim Al – Talib condemned the terrorist activities in the world and said that “terrorism has nothing to do with any religion”.
The Imam was in Patna to attend the ongoing Peace conference organised by Tawhid Education Trust. Addressing a press conference in the state capital Patna on Saturday the Imam of Masjid Al-Haram of Kaaba said that
“Terrorism has no religion. It was the West where terrorism appeared before heading its way to Islamic countries. Islamic scholars from Saudi Arabia, India and throughout the world have clarified that any act of terrorism has nothing to do with Islam. When followers of other religions have done acts of terrorism it is not blamed on their religion then why is Islam blamed”.
Sheikh Saleh Al Talib while speaking on the issue said that he was sent to India to by King of Saudi Arabia to convey the message of peace and equality.
The Imam who said that “There was no compulsion in the religion no one can force anyone to accept Islam” did not comment on the fatwa of Deoband which stops Muslims from chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
