Newly married couples and divided families are the ones who have applied for these new cards. After introduction of ePoS in PDS, the civil supplies department stopped issuing new ration cards.

District civil supplies officer B.N.V.V. Krishna Prasad said that eligible persons can apply for new ration cards in Mee Seva centres.
