Hyderabad traffic police hold road safety camps

The free summer camp is conducted for school children from Classes VI-X to create more awareness about traffic rules and road safety.

The main reason for this was said to be the removal of about 80 black spots that were identified based on an analysis of accident data of 2017.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad traffic police is organising a road safety summer camp at Goshamahal Traffic Police Training Institute where school children will be taught traffic rules and road safety. 

The 10-day road safety summer camp for children was inaugurated by the city police commissioner Anjani Kumar and Hyderabad traffic police additional traffic commissioner Anil Kumar on Wednesday.

The free summer camp is conducted for school children from Classes VI-X to create more awareness about traffic rules and road safety. Around 50 children from across the city have enrolled for the camp. The camp will be conducted till May 12. Road safety classes for children will be taken by traffic inspector G. Harish from the Traffic Training Institute.

In addition to safety classes, kids will be trained in music, dance and karate to make the camp more interesting.
