Telengana Eamcet Physics paper is a knockout for students

Hyderabad: Students who appeared for TS Eamcet found Botany, Zoology and Chemistry papers easier than Physics whereas in AP Eamcet, even Botany and Zoology papers were tough. Many students from Telangana appeared for AP Eamcet as they are eligible for 15 per cent quota and to get better training for TS Eamcet and other entrance examinations.

18-year-old Pranav, a student from Nallakunta, who appeared for TS Eamcet in the first session told DC that the exam was quite easy, especially the questions from Botany and Zoology but the Physics paper was tough among all the subjects.

“Few questions from Physics were really tough, especially for students who didn’t understand the concepts properly. Also, Biology paper had a few twisted questions due to which we found it difficult to write the answers. Chemistry had some questions from the textbook itself. If one has prepared from the textbooks, he/she will be able to answer 35 to 38 answers very easily,” Pranav said.

“Normally we take one minute for each question in Biology, but questions in Biology took two to three minutes to answer this time. I am expecting pretty good marks in Eamcet. I may score 130 to 140 marks out of 160. As we are writing online exam for the first time, initially I was a bit confused and tensed about how to approach the exam but the moment the exam started, I got used to it. Online exams are way better then offline exams. I aim to become a doctor, but as we have Veterinary and Agricultural options in Eamcet, I wanted to give it a try,” he said.

17-year-old V. Bhumika, a student who appeared for TS Eamcet for Agricultural and Pharmacy category said that Botany, Zoology and Chemistry papers were quite easy but Physics was tough. “I also appeared for AP Eamcet and I found it much difficult than TS Eamcet. I wanted to appear for both the exams as I wanted better practice.” for the NEET exam. I secured 29,000 rank in APEAMCET. I am hoping to score better in TSEAMCET. I am aim to become a doctor and want to help the needy and poor,” she said.

Kumar Veeramalu, Dean of Chaithanya Educational Institutions, said that majority of the students have appeared for EAMCET in both the states as the Telangana students are eligible for 15 per cent quota in Andhra Pradesh for the engineering stream.
