Thiruvananthapuram region tops with 98 per cent pass percentage
Among the physically challenged students, Nimmy Ved of Choice School, Trippunithara, bagged the first rank.
Thiruvananthapuram: Thiruvananthapuram topped the regions in the CBSE 12th standard results announced on Thursday.
The toppers from the state are A. Maalavika of Believers Church Residential School, Kut-tapuzha, Thiruvalla, and Varsha Vijay, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 West Hill, Kozhikode, with 496 marks. They are followed by B.R. Neeraj, St.Thomas Central School Mukkolakkal, Thiruvananthapuram, S. Manav, St Mary’s Residential Central School, Poonthoppu ward, Alappuzha,
Susan Maria Mathew, Viswajyothi Public School, Angamaly, Ernakulam, Annu Johnson, Devamatha Public School, Thiruvambady,Thrissur, and S. Anjana Vyasa Vidya Peethom, Kallekkad, Palakkad, who got 495 marks.
M. Vaishnavi, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom Thiruvananthapuram, Anvy Susan Sabu,ToCH Public School, Vyttila, Kochi, R. Darsana, Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, R. Vineeth, BVB Vidya Mandir Eravimangalam, Thrissur, Anusmita Biswas, Spring Valley School, NIT Calicut Campus, and K.V. Hridika, Sree Sankara Vidyapeetam school, Mattanur, Kannur got 494 marks.

The highest pass percentage for international schools is 95.43. Kendriya Vidyayala schools had a pass percentage of 98.54, Tibetan schools have 96, government-aided schools 88.49 and private schools have the lowest at 82.59 per cent.
Girls, like in previous years, performed better with 88.70 percent of them passing, followed by transgenders at 83.3 percent and boys at 79.4 per cent.
