CAG report proved KCR prediction correct: KT Rama Rao

Rajanna Sircilla: Minister for information technology and municipal administration K.T. Rama Rao on Friday said the Telangana state is on the path of development path and the recent CAG report was an indication of this.
Mr Rama Rao recalled that CAG stated that Telangana state recorded 17.82 percent growth rate for the year 2016-17 in the country and stood top in the country.
After hoisting the National Flag on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day in the Police Grounds in the district headquarters, Mr Rama Rao said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had predicted during the Telangana agitation that the state will record good growth rate and emerge as richest state in the country. He said that this was and now a reality due to the steps taken in development and welfare sectors in the last three years in the new state.
He reeled out the development and welfare schemes being implemented by the state government and state government was going to launch two more new schemes Amma Vodi and pension to single women.
