Hyderabad: Group-II aspirants allege that even after High Court's order candidates who used double bubbling in OMR sheets got qualified in the written examination. After the Group-II examinations held in November 2016, some candidates who had used whitener for double bubbling had filed a petition in the court saying the answers which were corrected with whitener must also be taken as valid.

The court directed Telangana State Public Service Commission on April 24, 2017 saying the candidates who used whitener for double bubbling will not be considered to qualify the examinations. Aspirants, due to the violation of the rules, affect the entire selection process.

The aspirants alleged that using whiteners goes against the  instructions on the hall tickets. It is clear that some people intentionally used the whiteners to correct the OMR sheets.

Radha Gopal an aspirant who did not qualify in Group-II exams said, “Candidates were not considered if they were late by a minute then how come the candidates who used whitener and did double bubbling got qualified in the Group-II exams.”
