Tiruvarur: Student hurt as iPhone explodes

Tiruvarur: A 28-year-old youth was seriously injured when his I-phone suddenly exploded at Muganthanur village near Tiruvarur on Friday.

Police said Sachin of Periyar Nagar in Ariyalur town, doing his post-graduation, was on his way to his relative's house at Pullamangalam village near Tiruvarur, on a two-wheeler when the bizarre mishap took place. Under its impact, Sachin suffered serious injurie. The youth was rushed to a private hospital at Vilamal near Tiruvarur, police said.
