IIIT- Bangalore records 95 per cent placement

Bengaluru: As the 17th batch of students from the International Institute of Information and Technology Bangalore (IIIT-B) wore their traditional convocation robes on Sunday, 95% of them have already been recruited by leading tech companies from around the globe.

“Except for 13 students who have graduated on Sunday, all students have been placed at leading technological corporations,” said Prof S. Sadagopan, Director of IIITB.

Chief Secretary Subhash Chandra Khuntia and Director of IIT Kanpur Prof. Indranil Manna awarded degrees to students. Khuntia welcomed graduates to “work for the government either full time or part time.”
