Dr K Laxman slams K Chandrasekhar Rao failure in school reforms
Laxman said KCR had failed to fulfil his promise of introducing a common school system.
Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president Dr K. Laxman on Tuesday alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had failed to fulfil his promise of introducing a common school system.
While addressing a press conference in the city, he said that parents were being forced to “buy” education for their children and the state government was not even trying to regulate the “loot” of the managements of private schools in the guise of uniforms, books and admission fee.
He said the private schools had been looting the parents in the name of ‘international’ and ‘Olympiad’ schools and the state government had not bothered to step in even after 27 Intermediate students committed suicide.
Party leader Muralidhar Rao said that they had complained to the President about the student suicides.
