Nalgonda cops app for Nalgonda Krishna pushkaralu
The app was released by ministers Indrakaran Reddy and Jagadish Reddy, during a review of the pushkaral works.
Hyderabad: The Nalgonda police launched a mobile phone app, ’Nalgonda Krishna Pushkaralu’, for devotees taking part in the event from across the state in the district. The app, available on Android and iOS, will have details of the Pushkar ghats across the district and provides route maps.
The app was released by ministers Indrakaran Reddy and Jagadish Reddy, during a review of the pushkaral works.
The app has information on parking places, ATMs, hospitals, petrol bunks, police stations and hotels located nearby. It also provides data on precautionary measures for pilgrims, Nalgonda superintendent of police N. Prakash Reddy said.
Users can also access climate information at each ghat using the app. The app will have the mobile numbers of supervising officers for use in an emergency. Users also can upload information of missing persons.
The notification alert feature provides updates on traffic jams and rush at the ghats, It will also have information on nearby temples and tourist places, Mr Prakash Reddy said.
