Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Thursday paved way for distribution of health and hygiene kits to the students in the state by vacating the stay by a single judge bench in awarding the contract to Maa Yarn and Fibers Company. The bench on July 11 granted interim stay on the contract while dealing with a petition by Light House Promotions, seeking to declare as illegal the action of the Telangana Education and Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation in awarding the tender to Maa Yarn and Fibers while disqualifying the petitioner as illegal.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Thottathil Bhaskaran Nair Radhakrishnan and Justice V. Ramasubramanian, while dealing with three appeals by Light House Promotions, vacated the stay order. Mr P. Sri Raghuram and Mr Dilip Jayaram, the counsels arguing for the appellants, submitted that the petitioner has mislead the court by suppressing the facts to get the interim stay.
