8 more SIMI men tried to flee jail, says NIA

The eight terror suspects had later been killed in an alleged encounter.

BHOPAL: Bhopal, Nov 2: The NIA probing the October 31 jailbreak by eight suspected Simi men here, on Wednesday detained two people for interrogation in connection with the incident.

The eight terror suspects had later been killed in an alleged encounter. Meanwhile, a preliminary probe by police in the jailbreak incident found that eight more Simi men lodged in B-cell of A-Block in the prison had planned to escape with the slain Simi men, but failed.
