Gangrape victim's double whammy surfaces on Facebook

Thiruvananthapuram: Dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi has revealed how the cops in a  police station in Thrissur  humiliated a gang-rape victim by failing  to act on her complaint and also by passing lewd remarks against  her recently.

The victim  alleged that the four rapists included a  politician with high connections. Bhagyalakshmi  said in a Facebook post,  which was kept in the ‘friends only’ setting,  that the police officer asked the woman,   ‘whom did you enjoy most?’ When contacted,  Bhagyalakshmi told Deccan Chronicle that  she stood by every word in the post. When DC pressed Bhagyalakshmi to identify the police station limits where the crime occurred,  she declined saying the time was not  ripe to expose the victim/survivor to possible intimidation and danger.
The post said that this was not a film story. “I am narrating this after proper investigation. One day, a woman called me. She was crying.
