Bengaluru: LPG blast, 2 succumb to injuries

Bengaluru: Two of the four people who were injured in an explosion due to leakage of LPG a few days ago, succumbed to the injuries at a hospital on Wednesday. The incident had occurred at their house in Veeraswamy Layout in Kadugodi police station limits on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Narendra Sharma, 31, a software engineer, and his brother Harendra Sharma, 28. Narendra’s wife Shilpa, 27, and nine-months-old daughter Arya, were also injured in the explosion. The family hailed from Uttar Pradesh. “The brothers, who had sustained severe burn injuries, succumbed on Wednesday evening,” the police said.
