Hyderabad: The Shah Inayat Gunj police caught two persons in different incidents and seized Rs 11 lakh unaccounted cash late on Thursday night.

In the first incident, one Manoj Kumar, a businessman, was caught with Rs 4.80 lakh by the police squad of Shah Inayat Gunj, whereas in the second incident, V. Shiva, a marketing executive of a firm was nabbed in possession of Rs 6.30 lakh, that he was carrying in a bag, said the police inspector of Shah Inayat Gunj, R. Kanlinga Rao. 

“When enquired about the source and purpose of carrying the money, the answers given by them did not seem legitimate and hence the men and the seized cash was handed to the IT officers for a probe,” the official said.
