Kerala chapter of IPS association flays attack on officers
There is an urgent need for not only the IPS Association but Kerala society to rise up and strongly condemn such individuals, said IPS.
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala chapter of IPS Association has strongly condemned the abusive and digital attack targeting certain police officers by individuals and organisations in connection with the recent Sabarimala incidents.
The Association, in its resolution here on Friday, said “there have been unfortunate incidents in which efforts have been made to intimidate and vilify police officers carrying out their duties.
“There is an urgent need for not only the IPS Association but Kerala society to rise up and strongly condemn such individuals, who use derogatory words against our colleagues. We believe that these comments reflect the character and values of the person making them, and not of the targeted officer,” said IPS Association State secretary P. Prakash.
