TIRUPATI: YSR Congress legislator R.K. Roja slammed Tirumala joint endowments officer K.S. Srinivas Raju for not allotting her with VIP break tickets after she completed her 88 Km padayatra from Nagiri to Tirumala wishing about the success of the Galeru-Nagiri project on Saturday. Roja reached Tirumala on Friday night and joined sarva darshan queue lines.
Speaking to media persons in Tirumala on Saturday, Ms Roja slammed the JEO alleging that he is allotting VIP break tickets and alleged that he has converted the holy place into a business centre. MLA Roja said that she will get the VIP break allotment details under Right to Information Act and will let everyone know to whom he is allotting tickets.
“The existing JEO is continuing in the same position for last 7 years by lobbying and carrying briefcases to government officials. Whenever people come from North India, he will do watchman duty,” she said. “The previous EO, Samba Siva Rao had cut down the JEO's irregularities and misuse of power. He again started to misuse his power.” she added.
