Special team nabs suspects in country bomb hurling case

Chennai: A special team of Kancheepuram district police on Wednesday evening secured three persons allegedly involved in hurling country bombs at the house of a former village panchayat president's residence in Perumattunallur near Guduvanchery, a month ago.
The main accused, a history-sheeter and his accomplices who attacked a policeman with a weapon near Guduvanchery and fled last month are yet to be traced, police sources said.
