Chandrababu Naidu, Jagan Mohan Reddy to meet EC officials in Delhi today

Accompanied by YSRC leaders, Mr Jagan will submit documents as proof of the removal of YSRC supporters and sympathisers from the voters' list.

Vijayawada: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and opposition leader and YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit New Delhi on Monday separately to meet officials of the Election Commission of India.

Mr Jagan Mohan will meet the EC officials at 11 am and apprise them of the illegalities in the voters’ registration in AP and removal of 50 lakh voters from the list by the Telugu Desam government.

Accompanied by YSRC leaders, Mr Jagan will submit documents as proof of the removal of YSRC supporters and sympathisers from the voters’ list.

Mr Naidu will meet EC officials in the evening. He is expected to ask the EC to stop the usage of EVMs in the elections in AP. He may also hold a meeting with TD MPs and leaders about the future course of action about the fight for Special Category Status.
